2 pkg Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 1/2 C shortening
4 eggs
Roll into 1/2 inch round balls. Bake @ 350 degrees for no longer than 8 min.
Frosting:
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
2 C powdered sugar
6 Tbl butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Beat all ingredients together until smooth.
Sandwich two cookies together with plenty of frosting in the middle. It goes a lot faster if you put the frosting into a baggie and cut the tip off to squeeze the frosting onto the cookies rather than using a knife.
